My Approach
Sarah brings an honest, non-judgmental approach to her work which creates relationships with others that are based in trust and integrity. With a focus on connection and feeling safe, Sarah will conduct a biopsychosocial assessment to determine key areas to focus on in counselling. Relying on a person-centred approach, Sarah incorporates cognitive behavioural strategies, creativity, brief-focused therapy and mindfulness interventions. This means there is no “one size fits all” approach to counselling. Joining with her clients to prioritise their needs, Sarah is able to promote change and support healing and positive outcomes.

Why the Willow Tree?
The willow tree is known for its unbreakable branches, despite being battered by the wind.
It can be cut back harshly and will grow back healthy and strong.
I wholeheartedly believe that we too are unbreakable. There is hope in the darkest of times.
No matter where we begin, we will determine where we end up.
